Enjoyed my pre-Valentine's Day breakfast. It was cold outside but I felt warm & welcomed at the Allegheny Sandwich Shoppe.

Bring a good appetite the portions amazing. Everything is great, but SEAFOOD MAC is to die for, although it is not a regular menu dish. Only on special Friday. Can't wait to get back to Pittsburgh to have some!!!!

Allegheny Sandwich Shoppe has been my go to breakfast and lunch spot since I discovered the place several months ago. Today, I tried a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger for the first time, per a recommendation from the owner himself. One of the best burgers I've ever had! Everything was perfect, Beef, bacon, bun and bbq. Despite the amazing daily specials, I may be sticking with burgers from now on!

I had a business meeting here this morning and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. It's very close to PNC Park and Heinz Field so it's a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch before a game. It's easy to get to from the West End Bridge. Just take the Western Avenue exit and it's a few blocks down on your left. It's definitely worth the drive and they have free parking. Bonus!

Went there today with my partner for lunch. The food and service was good. I couldn't believe how "low" the prices were. I'm used to paying $12+ for a 'steak' salad but the one I ordered today from there was real steak and it was cut up like you would make at home. Thanks everyone!

Joy, Donna and Nick are gems. This spot is a delight to visit, where the smiles are plentiful, the cooking is delicious, servings are huge, and prices are reasonable. Saturday mornings are especially enjoyable because the parade of Pirates employees, police officers and city officials is never-ending.
